Updates...

Here are a few random pictures to update you on all the Elkhorn news. (about us that is)
Rugs and Zo on the new, new go-cart. Notice it looks a lot the same-- only yellower.Breckyn has been put on "fire duty" at the job site. We girls all remember what that feels like. Dad's theory is "anything can burn if you get it hot enough." Breckyn is clutching her water bottle for safety. If this fire goes "wild" Breckyn will finally get to use all of the skills she learned from fire safety week in school. I can't tell you how many times I've heard and seen "stop, drop, and roll."

The walls are all poured and Dad is making some final tweeks to the bracing. It's coming along rather quickly for a guy who is still tied to the office. Only 17 days left until he is a crazy free man. Get that Hawaii shirt out and maybe one of those drinks in a coconut with a little umbrella in it-- he's ready for a little R & R!

Way to go team Magill and Taylor! Nice progress on the house! Wow, you guys are doing great.

Personally, I like the yellow go-cart better, too. Did you switch it because yellow looks faster?

Breckyn looks so responsible. I hope she realizes that if that fire gets out of control running might be better than stopping, dropping, and rolling.

Way to go Dad! Thanks for keeping us updated on the house progress. Remember to tell Breckyn not to borrow and of ZZ's mittens while she is working with fire....you never know when one might jump into the fire!!! I'm up for a ride on the go-cart any time.

The actual count is 8 work days and then we jump in the car for a ride to Utah to see the Western Gang. Wish everyone was together!

Love,
Mom
