Happy Birthday Emerson!

Yesterday we celebrated Em's birthday.  It was the day of Emerson.

His face says it all.  He had a great time. 

He started off at Target so he could spend his birthday cash.  He was very careful and looked for a long time before deciding on the perfect toy.  Then  we were off to Pizza Hut lunch buffet with the Barlows where he ate his weight in cinnamon bread sticks.  Next we played at the skate park to work on his goals of being featured in the next X games.  Finally we went back to the house to swim and have a water balloon fight.  Everything went according to his master plan.

...and now he is officially SIX!

He picked this fishy cake out all by himself.  He also picked sausage biscuits and yogurt for dinner.  (not quite as good as the cake pick)

Now to the good stuff.... present time.

He was begging for a dirt bike (a.k.a. a motor bike like in the X games) and this was the best we were willing to do.

He also got a remote control car so he could race with his Dad and brother.

I couldn't resist putting in a picture of my littlest guy.  He is just so stinkin' cute.
